Full Description
Sophie Taeuber-Arp (1899-1943) plays a very important role in Swiss art history. Therefore the Kunstmuseum Solothurn chose to inaugurate their newly arranged rooms with an exhibition presenting a central work group in Taeuber-Arp's artistic work: the works on paper. For the first time, they will be seen as an entity. The more than 130 exhibits are partly unknown and have never been published before. They document the excellent quality of Taeuber-Arp's work and give evidence of her importance as a pioneer of modern art.
