To describe Jesus Christ not only as exemplary people of the past, but as present in spirit and strength is the purpose of this spirit christology. Following Paul, Lukas and Johannes, the book formulates their foundations in ecumenical discussion of newer designs. Christians experience Jesus Christ as present through their participation in Jesus' death and resurrection. The Spirit opens them to God's arrival and responsibility towards others.
