An examination of the theology by the Lutheran theologian Peter Brunner (1900-1981), who taught systematic theology in Heidelberg for over 20 years. Part I of the study is devoted to the foundations of dogmatic theology (concept of theology, writing, confession, historical-philological science), part II to the topics of Protestant worship, evangelical preaching and ecumenical questions.
