Full Description
The UIA competition is one of the most important competitions for students of architecture. Every three years the UNESCO prize for architecture is awarded to the winner. The theme of this particular competition is the future of an inner-city area in central Berlin: the aim is to provide an environmentally friendly and practical contribution to the redevelopment of this significant area and, at the same time, to define an architectural language for the 21st century. This book documents the background, results and winning designs from the competition.
