Günter Pfeifer ist Professor für Entwerfen und Wohnungsbau an der Technischen Universität Darmstadt. Als praktizierender Architekt hat er u.a. mit Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, Tadao Ando und Alvaro Siza zusammengearbeitet. Er lehrte zehn Jahre Entwerfen und Hochbaukonstruktion und arbeitet heute auf dem Gebiet der intelligenten, energiesparenden, nachhaltigen Weiterentwicklung bestehender Bautypen.
