Full Description

As an important component of the course, the workbook provides a language-focused supplement to the course book. Each four-page unit is split into a grammar and a vocabulary section. Each section begins with a clear and full explanation of the grammar presented in the course book. This is followed by extensive practice exercises that test and develop the student's knowledge. Each vocabulary section recycles key items from the PASS Cambridge BEC Vantage course book and introduces more key vocabulary. There are two language reviews. Each review consists of 100 grammar questions, which revise the grammar of the previous five units, and 50 multiple-choice vocabulary questions also based on the previous five units. The writing reference section provides students with guidance on writing emails, formal letters, faxes and brief exam-style reports. The section includes a list of essential phrases useful to students not only in the examination but also in their professional lives. A full answer key is provided at the back of the book.
