This text takes the student through the entire syllabus of a standard International Business or Management course. The book covers both the economic and managerial aspects of the subject. The first half concentrates on the traditional economic concerns: international economics and world trade; the International Monetary System; theory of the MNE; and foreign direct investment. The second half covers the cultural, organizational and operational issues needed to demonstrate how management works in the global economy. In addition, the text focuses on specific functional areas of business - strategy, HRM, international marketing, financial management and accounting and international production/operations management.
