Full Description
Since independence in 1947 the Indian economy has been undergoing a process of continuous evolution. Globalization and liberalization have highlighted complex managerial concerns for economic institutions in India. Previous studies have focussed on the financial sector, trade and development and structural adjustment. This book concentrates on these common concerns whilst advising that the sustainability of economic institutions under globalization and liberalization will be determined only by reconciliation between the state and the free market.
