Lynwood Krenecks screenprints are recognized throughout the world for their imaginative, often humor-filled content, vivid colors, and always superb technical execution. After earning his MFA at the University of Texas, Kreneck joined the faculty at Texas Tech University, where he has remained through a career of nearly four decades. As a teacher, Kreneck has himself been a mentor to many printmakers. He is also the founder of Colorprint U.S.A., one of the most influential print exhibits in the world today, and he has had a primary influence on the development of water-based inks, which have made screenprinting labs safer for teachers, students, and professional artists.
