The U.S. Census Bureau has compiled this abstract every year since 1878. It contains summaries of social, political, and economic statistics for the U.S. through 2002. This edition features a new section containing data for each congressional district and 72 tables detailing numbers such as estimates of unauthorized immigrants, people without health insurance, characteristics of murder victims, percent of agricultural output exported and even how many people use a computer at work.
