Full Description
Substitute one letter for another and you'll be able to read fantastic quotations from famous people. Hints help narrow down the choices. Remember that a one-letter word is always A or I, and that in a two-letter word, one must be a vowel. Apostrophes can also eliminate lots of possibilities. Some words--like AND--occur over and over, so look out for them. Keep an eye out for -ed, -ing, and -tion endings, too. In every cryptogram the code is consistent, but it does change from puzzle to puzzle. In these puzzles, which get harder as you progress, the quotation is followed by the name of the person who said or wrote it. There is a solving hint for each cryptogram which will tell you what letter one of the code letters stands for.
