Full Description
This study asks: what regional economic cooperation arrangement should South Asia follow in order to be competitive in the global marketplace; how far has the present regional economic cooperation in the region been successful; what lessons on North America and East Asia provide; and in what way can a small country like Nepal benefit from regional cooperation? Clarifying these issues is necessary for SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) to evolve into a vibrant community.
