New Year spent with his new girlfriend, Debra, has put a smile on the wise-cracking private-eye Chris O'Brien's face. But the calm can only last so long, and it's not long before a trip to London gets the PI involved in a hunt to find the leaders of a gang of neo-Nazi thugs responsible for a racially-motivated attempted murder. Back in Bradford, a chance meeting with an old friend soon give O.B. something to think about and will set him on the trail for justice. Trying to right this wrong will be difficult, though - quite how difficult becomes apparent when he tracks down his target and is horrified by what he uncovers. With another murder in London and the escalation of the situation in Bradford, O.B. is going to need all the help he can get. He and Debra set about assembling a multi-ethnic band of brothers (and sisters) who'll meet adversity with diversity. Adversity is about to get its ass kicked..
